The theory here is that we'll stay on gaia-l10n (trunk) l10n, but we can still sync that to a v2.0 branch in git.m.o, then change the source repo to the v2_0 repos once they're created in ~6 weeks' time.

New vcs-sync l10n isn't live yet, but I think it's pretty close once the mapper dependencies get landed.

There's a script that does this -- see around line 351 for a reference to "cross_check_configuration_settings" which checks for this condition, and produces a script to fix things.
